The Elephant’s Solitude

Moscow Zoo. Elephant. A whimsical interplay between the sandy hues of the wall and the elephant’s textured skin. The blue dome hovers metaphorically, with arcs of sand spreading in circular patterns on either side, as the elephant tucks its trunk into its mouth. The scene evokes the notion that the wall, much like a cinema screen, captures the latent potential of the elephant’s trunk to conjure fountains of sand or water.
